How would you use a blog in a language classroom?. Think creatively. What type of activities, projects, assessments do you think could be done through this tool?

  6. One option: Blogs may be very useful for those students who cannot attend classes on a regular basis due to family or work situation. The teacher and/or students can post about what was done in class to keep the rest up to date.

It could also be a good place to post material for extra practice or for those students who want to advance further in their learning process.

  9. A blog could be useful when teaching vocabulary and giving some extra exercises. Then, students could interact each other.

  11. I think we would make a huge project throughout the whole year, such as an students journal in within the high school in English.

  12. I would use a blog in a language class to improve reading and writing skills. Not time enough to think about projects now, hehehe.

  13. We think that is an useful activity to use in class:

We can post a quote about literature and the students can express their opinions or thoughts.

  16. First of all I want to thank you for your great lecture. Now, I will implement a blog in which the students will have the opportunity of sharing their opinions about a particular topic, exchanging their projects ( e.g.: My repetitive dream/nightmare), answering quizzes and probably suggesting stuff for the blog. Thus, they will be encouraged to use the blog because they will take part in its development.
